Charlie St. Cloud is a movie that is based on a novel by Ben Sherwood of the same name. It tells the story of Charlie (Zac Efron) who has a little brother that adores him and he in return. When Charlie was getting ready to set off to college, his younger brother made him make a promise that he will teach his kid brother baseball every night until the day he sets off for college. One rainy evening, while driving together with his kid brother, they’re car was hit by another that eventually led to the death of Charlie’s brother. This is where the story of Charlie St. Cloud begins.

Charlie St. Cloud is a young man overcome by grief at the death of his younger brother. So much so that he takes a job as caretaker of the cemetery in which his brother is buried.
